Comfort and distraction
Age-appropriate LEGO sets, art supplies, books, activity books, stickers, Play-Doh, and sensory or fidget items create familiar, calming moments.
The first program
An Alex Box is a thoughtful, age-appropriate reminder that a child is still a child — even on the day everything changes.
Age-appropriate LEGO sets, art supplies, books, activity books, stickers, Play-Doh, and sensory or fidget items create familiar, calming moments.
Hot Wheels or Barbie items, a journal, an encouragement bracelet, and fuzzy socks offer an individual sense of choice, play, and ownership.
Charging cables, a blanket, toiletries, and where available, gift cards, electronics, or headphones can help ease long hospital days.
Donations and fundraising merchandise will support the inventory, assembly, and ongoing preparation of Alex Boxes as the program begins.
